Working at heights is also called industrial climbing in the Netherlands. Use is made of ropes, climbing harnesses and other materials in order to reach workplaces (including those that are difficult to reach).
Rope Access is a good alternative (or complement to) the use of existing systems such as scaffolding, suspended platform systems and aerial work platforms. Rope Access methods and materials have been specifically developed for working in, for example, industry and construction.
