Ahmet Yigit’s tale in the transport industry began in Istanbul in 1971. There were no highways in Turkey yet and even the Bosphorus Bridge was not built in those years. The company carried out its activities till 1976 in Istanbul and by moving to Mersin, it made a transition into a new era.
Ahmet Yigit was entitled to C2 Certificate in 1982 and thereby set sail to international routes. By taking a strategic decision in 2003, it returned to Istanbul, located in the heart of the industrial areas where the story began and opened its branch office.
